New items: Mike: Should we have a PDF of the checklist? - Bob: The checklist uses formulas, so that wouldn't work - Mike: We should have a new instructional presentation Mike showed the IQ1 checklist instructions - It is from 2004, out of date - Moshiul: Randy presented an updated one this year - Mike showed the updated IQ checklist presentation from Micron - Mike showed the IQ checklist rev 2 spreadsheet - Anders: The |IQ column is missing from the spreadsheet - This is handy for direct cut and paste into IBIS files AR: Moshiul update IQ checklist to add |IQ column Bob reported on the recent summit meetings: - Lance had a presentation on point reduction - In Japan there was a presentation on quality - JEITA quality working group - Presentation about test loads - There is a form for submitting models to the JEITA website - It is like a crowd-sourcing effort - A blogger wrote about the summit in Japanese - Mike: JEITA gave us feedback some time ago - They suggested less stringent requirements in some cases Moshiul: Can we promote the IQ checklist to the IBIS home page? - Mike: That would have to be proposed at the open forum meeting - Bob: That would be good Mike showed the External Test Data and Test Load BIRD: - Anders: Probe points are names of points in the circuit - Mike: This should be coordinated with Arpad's BIRD 125 - This may come up in the interconnect meetings - Bob: That group is loaded down with 4 topics - Bob: Arpad's BIRD has alpha characters after = in "DiePort = node" - This is inconsistent with IBIS practice - Anders: We need to specify sources for test inputs AR: Mike post updated External Test Data and Test Load BIRD Next meetings: - Next meetings Nov 30 and Dec 7 Nov 30 agenda: - New External Test Data and Test Load BIRD draft Meeting ended at 12:11 Eastern Time.
